PS3 Ghostbusters update released

The PS3 update for the Ghostbusters video game we previously mentioned, is now out;

Both single and multiplayer modes have been updated. In single player mode, fixes include an increase in resolution to match that of Xbox360 and some freeze issues, along with numerous other localization fixes.

“Several audio/subtitle mismatches have been patched up as well. The multiplayer patches fix certain maps when both SCEA and SCEE players attempt to play with each other, and the Pay Day Trophy and Capture All Most Wanted Ghosts Trophy now unlock properly.

   i hope xbox users like myself dont have to wait too long for this patch i love the mutiplayer and would hope we get the same treatment.

   I hope Microsoft release some updates for the game on XBox360, I hate those online multiplayer freezing.

   This is probably a stupid question…but can you download the fixes from playstation network, or did they just make the fixes on the new games being released at the stores?

    ROBorob. When buyin the game from stores the patches are not included. But the patches are accesible when insertin the disc

    The patches will be available through your PS3 system, provided it’s plugged into the net.

    Should be noted that the download wipes out your saved games (not your throphies though)

    EuroGamer is reporting that this PS3 patch doesn’t deliver 720p:

    They definitely say that the resolution is increased and there is an increase in quality, but it’s still far below the 360′s resolution.

    with the ps3 patch i kept the trophies but lost all game save data had to start all over again not that i minded playing all over again
