I’ve never really been a fan of Hoobastank(they just never caught my attention), but I must say that this was an awesome cover and video. Extra kudos go to them for sporting the RGB gear and for including hot chicks as Janine and Dana/Zuul. BTW, have any other fans out there done such a nice job on RGB gear and uniform as Hoobastank here? I don’t think I’ve ever seen any fans dressed up as RGB till this video.

Haven’t thought about Hoobastank since probably the last time I thought about Chumbawumba… which was just now too… but that was a pretty rad video and not a bad cover. If I was music super on the new film it’d be in the “close but not quite” pile for new title song cover.

mad props for the RGB costumes, I was actually wondering the other night if a group of guys have ever done the RGB outfits/proton packs. They’re proton packs look damn close the the cartoon version.

BTW this cover sucks, but mad props for their costumes.

Hey castewar do you have any photos of other people at comic-cons that suited up in RGB outfits???

First of all, I don’t think the song or video could’ve been anymore energetic. The late 90’s are over, ska is dead. A huge tempo increase would have been too chaotic. The Heys and Hos sealed the deal for me and everyone just looks like they’re having so much fun. It’s too cliche’ to get dark with it as well. Whoever commented with that needs to think outside the box and know that his or her direction is too popular. Wannabe Christopher Nolan if you ask me! Remember Akyroyd, Ramis, and Reitman wanted the original theme song to sound like the opening to a television show.

I rather enjoyed it. I agree with most, I would have expected something edgier, and even hoped for it from Hoobastank. However I’m down with any main stream exposure Ghostbusters can get right now. Unfortunantly this band isn’t what it used to be in my book, but I did like the song and LOVED the video. I noticed some were having trouble finding it, I could provide an mp3 if there is interest. I’ll host it on the forum or whatev.
