Damn. Wish I would have known earlier.
Who wants to bet that he’ll be asked several GB3 questions?
It is really insulting that he’s mentioning Year One. He seems a little full of himself. I used to like Ramis but after Groundhog day he decided to make crap. I think someone should tell him that he’s nothing without Murray, not the other way around.
you do realize “Analyze This” and “Analyze That” were both really successful movies right.
Wow, speaking of insulting, Drake…
I just got back from the lecture… it was thoroughly entertaining. Mr. Ramis shared a number of clips from films that have influenced his writing and sense of comedy. Sorry, there was hardly any mention of Ghostbusters.
And Drake, there was little mention of Year One either. It was more about the films that influenced him. He did say that Year One was inspired by Mel Brooks films and The Life of Brian.
Thank you for posting this by the way. The minute read it, I drove straight over to Northwestern, with 30 minutes to spare.
Gah. I’m a film major, why can’t I get a lecture from Ramis at my school?
Did he sign for anybody
I’d like to know if he signed autographs. I was thinking about driving from Pittsburgh for this. My goal is to meet all 4 Ghostbusters. I’m half way there!
Right after his talk, he went into the audience, signed autographs and posed for pictures. He is a genuinely nice guy. I brought along a copy of my “Making Ghostbusters” book. He’s the second Ghostbuster who has signed it
@whoiseyevan
That’s awesome. It’s always great to hear stories like that. Who’s the either Ghostbuster that signed your book? I’ve met Aykroyd and Hudson. Both were terrific people.
I met Hudson at the Chicago comicon this year.
By the way, I heard that Aykroyd will be doing a Crystal Skull signing session in Chicago sometime this month.
You can watch the full interview here at Fora tv.

Crystal Head…not Crystal Skull, lol.
I met hudson about 4 years ago. Super nice guy. Signed my dvd to andrew tell em about the twinkie
Hey Slimetime, maybe you should have brought a Twinkie for Ernie to sign with that inscription
I went to the lecture as well, he signed a few things that I had, super nice guy!!
I also saw that Dan Aykroyd will be at two locations, one on Monday and the other on Tuesday, does anyone know which Jewel he will be at on Monday?
I heard the same thing about Jewel. It doesn’t say anywhere which branch he’ll be at.
