Is it just me or does Ray Parker Jr. Change the lyrics whenever he sees fit? Most of these live performances bother me.

Ghostbusters: The Musical? Bizarre.

The tempo is increased dramatically… the song appears to have been arranged for, and played by, the house orchestra… and this performance violates Ray Parker, Jr.’s rule that you can’t sing the word “Ghostbusters” because there’s no way to make it sound good–I’m shocked how different the song sounds without the usual chorus of girls shouting “Ghostbusters” back.

I have not re-watched this since seeing it live back in the day, but I remember it being horrible and embarrassing for those involved.
