Cineplex Odeon is presenting the The Great Digital Film Festival this week and next and will be screening Ghostbusters twice as part of the fest. The festival, as the name suggests, is digital or HD screenings in a top-tier theatre setting – I’m assuming this means they will be screening the Blu-ray, but I have no confirmation on that. Still, Ghostbusters on the big screen with a crowd is always a blast, even if it’s a crappy old VHS copy.
Saturday Feb 6 – 6:30pm

Scotiabank Theatre Toronto located at 259 Richmond Street W.
Advance tickets are now available online at www.cineplex.com/events as well as at participating theatre box offices. General admission is only $5.00. For a double feature, admission is $9.00, five movies are $22.00, 10 movies are $42.50 and for a full week pass (all 20 movies) admission is $80.00.

Just got back from this. The clarity was great! It’s been 25 years since I saw this and I was reverted to my childhood again! What was fun is just before the movie they showed the trailer for it.
Total blast. Highly reccomend anybody who sees this pre-buys the tickets. The place was packed.
Incredible how there’s details you never notice until it’s on the big screen. Janine eavesdropping on the Venkman / Peck scene for instance……
