Art was respectable, and the writers tried, but it all just felt... uneventful. Schoening LOVES the Ghostbusters. The volume of his work on DeviantArt is a testament to that, and the dialog in their pitch is pretty spot-on when capturing the feel of the banter in the movie. I for one, a comic collector myself, would be thrilled to see this sort of thing blossom from the fan community. If IDW isn't willing to reconsider the pitch, maybe Sony should reconsider who they trust with their license properties.
