UPDATE: I’ve received news this morning that the Ghostbusters Firehouse personal space will not be released this week as previously announced. We will now be releasing this space in the April 15th update. We apologise for the delay.
Apparently, despite having first crack at the Ghostbusters video game, PS3 owners in Europe were left waiting – for nearly a year – on the Ghostbusters firehall as a Playstation Home personal space.
But, according to the PS3 EU morning blog, it’s out this week!
We know you’ve been waiting for the Ghostbusters Firehouse personal ever since it released for North America, and we’re pleased to announce it’s here! This space consists of three floors packed full of furniture and decorations, not least of which is your very own Ecto-1. The Ghostbusters Firehouse comes complete with movie props and portable blue screens that will be perfect for creating your own machinima movies. Just make sure you have your eyes open in case of any supernatural activity!

Is it possible to venture outside an look at the firehall exterior?
Can you climb up the ladder and out onto the roof?
Can you open the fridge and the lockers?
Can you sound the alarm?
I always wanted to do these things in the game but it wasn’t possible.
In order, no, no, no, and I’m not sure.
You can however get in and out of the Ecto, I think you can start it up or sound it’s siren, and you can make Slimer fly around.
Is it possible to interact with other players?
I want my gb2 patch! This is not fair! (Xbox 360 guy)
Thank gawd it has arrived. We’ve waited 9 months, 9 flippin months for this. Ive been to it from my friend who lives in the US. You can go inside Ecto, Honk the Horn, Start the engine and make the famous siren noise. Theres also a fire alarm bell which you can activate.
great news for PS3ers in the uk, but where in Gozer’s name is the XBOX patch and Gamerpics for UK XBOXers?

“t’s been one of those weeks for us here, and unfortunately I found out earlier today that the Ghostbusters Firehouse has been delayed at the last minute. The below notice is being added to the blog post as we speak:

Yeah, the updated last night that it’s been pushed to April 15th.
I thought that this was released already over in the EU territories. Did the game itself ever finally get released over there for all systems?
