Well, this is just the keenest thing ever.
StickerYou is a new site that offers sheets of print-on-demand, die-cut, vinyl stickers… which is cool enough on it’s own, but they have an official Ghostbusters license from Sony and are offering a giant selection of Ghostbusters stickers!
What’s this all mean? Well, it means you use their system to drag-and-drop Ghostbusters designs (or their other themes if you want, like various Sports and TV, etc.) onto a sheet. You want nothing but the Ghostbusters logo at postage stamp size? Do it – drag and drop one, size it, and then copy and paste it around the sheet. You want the Ecto-1 at 8.5×11 – do it! You want one of everything? Do it! You want to mix-and-match all their designs! You can do that too! Then StickerYou prints and cuts your sheets and sends them too you – each sheet is only $6.99.
You can even upload your own designs – the StickerYou system will even calculate a die-cut for your design! I have some Proton Charging stickers on the way – stay tuned to Proton Charging on Twitter and Facebook (follow the links on the top-left of the nav bar) for a chance to win one. And in the coming days, I’ll be making some of the Proton Charging designs you’ve seen over the years available for you to upload yourself to print out.
And just because StickerYou is awesome, they’ve set up a code for you to get your orders at 25% off! The code is good for one month, use it as often as you want!
25OFFGHOSTBUSTERS
And one last thing – I asked, and StickerYou has confirmed these are just the first batch of designs they’ve made available. They’re planning on releasing more in the future, so stay tuned for that. There are some cool things brewing at StickerYou!

This would be a good alternative for people looking to make logos for their ectomobile doors, and at an awesome price.
Aren’t those a couple of AJ’s Ecto-1 shots?
Wow, deja vu.
Ben, you were here last time this came up. Do you recall my request?
thats awesome! will definitely be buying a few sheets of stickers, and 25% off whoo hoo!
You know, legally General Motors owns the design of the Ecto-1 body, and Sony owns the designs of the car modifications (such as the roof rack) and logo, so even if the sticker artwork were based on AJ’s photos, it’s still work derisive of something that is copyrighted by someone other than AJ (GM & Sony).
Sorry, (although I dug up the last time a Ecto photo was called into question, and I haven’t noticed any specific request).
I’m all for new, cool Ghostbusters merchandise… but I won’t be happy if anything were to take something made/designed by a fan without them being notified.
As it happens, that photo doesn’t appear to be on of AJ’s, so hopefully it’s one of the sticker makers’.
An easy way to view how I view it, is what if some official Ghostbusters product decided to co-opt this site’s name and logo, and because of that you couldn’t use them anymore?
So, your point is that IF this was AJs (which it’s not) I should do something (you never say what), because if it was my logo (which is hard to confuse with someone else’s – unlike an Ecto photo) then…? You have no “then”. The then is MY point – point of fact, people have co-opted this site’s logo. That’s between me and the jerks.
The Ecto source photo could be one of any number of photos – and as last time, it wasn’t AJs. Hence the “Deja vu”. So, next time, until it can be confirmed as belonging to someone and someone decides what action to take (this time, as with last time, nobody bothered to see if maybe the guy that took the photos WAS contacted and compensated), the first post – now as with last time – shouldn’t be “Was that stolen?”
I’m not asking for much – I’m asking that the first response to anything with an Ecto on it shouldn’t be “DID THEY STEAL IT FROM AJ?”
Be reasonable, where did I ever say that I was expecting you to rectify anything? I thought it was one of his, but was unsure enough to add the “Aren’t those?” prefix. Turns out I was wrong, and I accept that.
I miss patrick and his tomfoolery
It’s how you presented yourself Ben.
I am being reasonable – I’m asking that people trying not to rain on these little fan parades without doing some leg work. Otherwise, it’s left in my lap and you don’t have to say anything, but it still just sitting there for me to deal with (or not deal with, as the case may be.)
I like the stickers – the stickers are great. I support the stickers, which you can’t miss, as I arrange for a discount code with StickerYou. When the first post out the gate is an incorrect charge of plagarism, what exactly do you figure I’m supposed to do? Ignore it, because you didn’t explicitly ask me to do something?
Please. No more “Is it AJs?” until someone ACTUALLY checks first. That’s all I want.
For future reference, all Ghostbusters licensees receive an art package from Sony to work from – hence the same slimers and Stay-pufts appearing on multiple packages and products, such as the StickerYou Ghostbusters sticker album. Just FYI for all.
Remember, the code runs out in a couple of weeks, so try it out now!
Just ordered a sheet. The price was right and can always use more GB stuff aroung the house.
I just ordered a sheet from their site.
And to be fair.. the Proton Pack image was lifted directly from GBFans. It was an image that I composited from a photograph of Playskool2000′s Proton Pack.
Then take it up with Sony, as Sony is handing out the same art package to all licensees.
how quality are these really? could you really put them on a car for an ecto mobile or would they just fade/peel off?
