This past weekend, Ernie Hudson put in an appearance at a convention in Ghent, Belgium, and one videographer and his pal, sat down with him for a ten minute chat. Ernie covers a lot of Ghostbusters ground, commenting on the possibilities of a new video game (though no hard facts that I heard – it was a rushed viewing, I will admit.)
He does say that he and Dan Aykroyd have talked about the video game, and he will be doing Winston’s voice. He also says that as he understands it, Bill Murray is also involved with supplying his voice to the video game. The recordings were intended for this summer, but have been pushed to January.
He also proves himself a philosopher and a gentleman about Winston’s presence (or lack of) in various Ghostbusters properties.
Thanks to Andreas for the tip!

AWESOME. Does anyone know anything about the studio working on the game and what company it is under? Im in the game design field and i would love to get in on that.
Aykroyd has mentioned “Universal”, so one could assume the game is being done by a VUE (or whatever they call themselves these days) studio.
Man Ernie Hudson is a nice dude, class act.
Here is some more Q&A with Ernie (only a short GB mention) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPPi9RAuLZU
Yea, I heard the whole story when I met him in Pittsburgh about GB1, but he didn’t make it clear that the SAME thing happened in GB2,thats ice cold. But good for him.
What was the make a wish question about? Kinda put him on the spot.
It’s something interviewers, particularly new interviewers, do, so not all their questions are something the interviewee has talked about a million times before. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but it’s a least a little something different.
When the interviewee rolls with it and you get a good answer, it’s perfect. But a lot of times it’ll fall flat.
“What was the make a wish question about? Kinda put him on the spot.”
1. If you could make one wish like the sick children (who applied for Make-A-Wish), what would your wish be?
2. What would you like to say to the volunteers that work for Make-A-Wish?
Thats Great I’m glad that Ernie Hudson will provide his voice for the GB3 movie in CGI and the video Game so thats great !
Just the video game, Patrick. No official mention of him voicing for the CGI movie – that’s still not confirmed yet.
Man, Ernie Hudson is SUCH an incredible guy. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting him at a con here in Dallas, TX and again, I have to say he’s just the nicest guy ever…every Ghosthead should meet him!
I know that castewar but Dan Aykroyd said that Ghostbusters 3 will be in CGI and that Bill Murray has agreed to voice his role which is awesome! Dan wouldn’t lie on the Country radio station! There were Thousands of emails when Dan told ALL of the GB Fans that GB3 Will be in CGI! PS. Please remove my name that says EEEEE Patrick aproved thats pretty cold! Thanks! P.s. Sigourney Weaver knows about GB3 being in CGI and she says no but I’m hoping that she will change her mind! I know that the rest of the cast agreed to voice there roles!

Just one small step closer to GB3 I hope.
