Big ups to RA24_4_Me for spotting this photo – MediCom (makers of Kubricks, particularly last year’s Back to the Future Kubrick figures) are showing off a line of Ghostbusters Kubricks and are they sweet. The Tokyo Toy Fair started yesterday and runs until Sunday, so we’ll keep digging.

Yeah, that’s pretty neat how they managed to get a bunch of LEGO type figures to look like REAL PEOPLE …
Another note I like to make: These could be to scale with that die-cast Ecto-1 that came out a few years ago.

How can these have the actor’s likenesses but NECA can’t obtain them?
I’m really diggin’ the accuracy in the stay puft heads. Better than the NECA one.
These are stylized liknesses, which are far easier to get approval for than likenesses that look real – if you’ve ever heard someone complain that an action figure looks nothing like the actor, you’ll know what that’s about.
These are not out out – they were just unveiled at the toy show.

Ya kno it’s funny when I was about to start my sophmore year in high schoo. i was really bored like the week before so I took a lego firehouse set and several lego policeman/vehicles and converted everything to look ghostbusters because..well..i wanted ghostbuster legos..i made proton packs and everythig..Now since I’m gonna get these I guess I won’t need the old set anymore..lol
I still have my no-ghost water squirter! Looks exactly like the no-ghost above but with a hole in the middle of the slash! It was the first thing I thought of when i saw the picture above!
