Released as a response to the popularity of Alvin and The Chipmunks, The Happy Hamsters were a high-pitched group of singing rodents that covered popular songs, and in some cases, like the Star Wars Imperial March, they’ll just riff over them. Their second album is a collection of spooky themed songs, starting with, and titled in honor of, Ghostbusters.
Keith has had this rare little gem in his collection for awhile, and with the 25th Anniversary, has opted to share the album with everyone – go here to check it out! Thanks Keith!

When was that record put out? It has the same version of the GB Instrumental that is on all of those “Hit Crew” compilations…
it was released in 1984
I have scans of the back etc too, if anyone wants them.
Odd.. it won’t play here at all!
Wow! Thank’s Keith, as a bit of an amateur music historian I am amazed that the instrumental in question goes back that far! It’s still used today! I would love the scans of the back! Great stuff. My email is atarizen@gmail.com
Thanks!
