It’s not often someone dares defy common wisdom and declare Ghostbusters a better movie than Star Wars, but this article by Caitlin Moran gives is a solid, and slightly tongue-in-cheek, go. Honestly, would you rather wear a cowl over a jumpsuit? Wield a laser sword over a nuclear accelerator?
The one major surprise in the article is that iTunes offered Ghostbusters, in the UK at least, for a special anniversary price of a pound. That deal, sadly, is over now.

Seriously, I love Star Wars, Lord Of The Rings, etc….but I will always hold Ghostbusters as number 1 in my heart. I loved it since the cradle, hell I was born exactly a year after it’s release (June 8). It was the first Christmas present I remember getting. Then there was the toys. Oh boy!

Star Wars is cool and all but Ghostbusters is my #1 of all time. Give me a Proton Pack over any jedi mind trick or light saber anyday.
