Cleanin’ Up The Town: Remembering Ghostbusters trailer online!

After two years and over 60 interviews, the documentary we’ve all been waiting for is nearly complete. And to show just how much goodness there is in the final film, a full trailer is now online for Cleanin’ Up The Town: Remembering Ghostbusters. The whole thing will blow your mind, but in particular pay attention to the live performance from the Busboys that accompanies the trailer. And keep an eye on the transitional magazines for funny little details.

Those of you attending the Horror Hound Weekend in November (in Cincinnati), you will have an opportunity to see a rough ten minutes of the film, as I understand it, as the director, Anthony Bueno is nearing completion on the film (only a couple more interviews left to do!)

Be sure to show your support for the film by following it on Facebook (if you’re not already.)

Over two years in the making, this is the definitive documentary on the Ghostbusters films. ‘Cleanin’ Up The Town: Remembering Ghostbusters’ delves deep into all the creative processes that brought these films to life. With interviews of cast and crew, some of which have never been put on tape before, it promises to satisfy both fan and filmmaker alike.

Trailer for proposed documentary, "Ghostheads" posted online.

“Prince Vigo”, AKA Adam Schwartz of the Alabama GBs, has a proposition – basically, while attending DragonCon the other week, he shot some footage for a documentary he’d like to make. Whereas Cleanin’ Up The Town is working to examine the making of the Ghostbusters film franchise, Ghostheads (working title) wants to look at the people who love the film franchise. And for a weekend of footage, the proposal trailer puts up a pretty solid argument in favour of getting it made. Check it out.

Nods to Ricky Crypt for the spot!

Thanks, everyone, for your support! I really want to make this a community driven effort so it’s great to see the enthusiasm! And we’re totally better than the trekkies. I think that this fan community is so unique and diverse and the story deserves to be told. If we can continue to get support and build momentum, we can really make this great.
