Maurice Lamarche interview

While Ghostbusters never comes up, this is a great interview with Maurice Lamarche (Egon on RGB/EGB) – voice actors don’t talk much, and when they do, it’s always interesting to read.

Thanks Toren.

[updates] It turns out there’s a second page and Ghostbusters does come up – that’s why you should never read and post on four hours of sleep over two days kids – you’ll miss things. I thought it was wierd that RGB never came up, especially as Toren posted the link, you know, here. Thanks Steven

News round-up

If I wasn’t so tired, I’d make these separate posts, but I am. So very tired.

CNN has a great article on Bill Murray and his life today – “I tell people I’m retired.” Thanks Ryan!

Hip hop artist Mister FAB has a new track Ghost Riding, which, as you can guess, samples Ghostbusters heavily. For however long it stays up, or I can keep it up you can get it here – if you dig it, you might consider checking out his mix tape check out his website. I’m digging it – I’d crunk to it, but I’m old. And tired. Thanks to David-GBNJ

And Cracked magazine is back, and they’ve earned themselves a subscriber with coverage of both GB movies, a hilarious picture of Dan Aykroyd as a mountie, and a small feature on Bill Murray. Thanks me! I’ll post more on it later.

So tired.

Aykroyd vinyard article in November

After getting tired of checking the EnRoute website every month, I just gave up and emailed the editor – word is, November’s special Food and Drink issue will be the one featuring Dan Ayrkoyd and his new vinyard venture (as seen on E! a couple of months back.)

And if you won’t be on an Air Canada flight in November, in order to nick a copy, here are a list of places in Canada and US where you can pick up a copy.

Two more summer GB theatrical showings

If you’re in LA, you should check out the Arclight cinemas in Hollywood on Monday, August 28. And if you’re in the UK and near Hemel Hempstead (I’ll admit, I’m not sure where that is in relation to London, the city by which I orient myself in the UK), Empire Cinema’s is showing GB from August 25th to 31st. As a bonus, you’ll get passes to a nearby nightclub and “bubblyvouchers.” I’m assuming that’s booze.

Thanks to germz818 and badgermattuk

[update] I didn’t realize at first, but the LA showing is 21+ – no yoots allowed. Bummer.
